The Backlot: A Place for Filmmakers Meets Oct. 20

The Backlot: A Place for Filmmakers, will meet Monday, Oct. 20, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Heritage House Arts and Civic Center, 1428 Jenkins Road. 

The event will feature a Halloween makeup demo by professional makeup artist Apryl Kelli Hughes; a casting call by the Chattanooga Comedy Cartel and the fall Cinephile Swap for attendees to trade their unwanted DVDs, movie books, film making equipment, etc. As long as it’s film-related, it’s welcome (no X-rated material) at the first of the three fall movie-lover swap meets.  

Admission is free.
