Dalton State’s first year women’s golf team hopes to ride the momentum from the second place finish at Jekyll Island as they visit the 5900 yards, par 72 Cleveland Golf and Country Club course on Monday and Tuesday.

The Coastal Georgia Women’s Tournament had been the Lady Roadrunner’s first competition ever.

The Lady Flames Invitational (hosted by Lee University) should provide another test for the young program. Dalton State will be one of only four NAIA schools represented.

10 NCAA Division II teams are scheduled to play in the 36-hole tournament.

Dalton State, Warner University (FL), Truett-McConnell, and Bryan College (TN) represent the NAIA.

Teams from NCAA D II will be Lee University, Shorter University, North Georgia College and State University, Trevecca Nazarene University, Young Harris, Columbus State University, University of West Alabama, UNC-Pembroke, Southern Wesleyan University, and Union University.
