Man Sought For Robbery Of Lookout Valley Walmart Pharmacy Caught In Dade County

A man wanted for a robbery at the pharmacy at the Walmart in Lookout Valley on Tuesday afternoon was caught in Dade County, Ga., on Wednesday.

Darren Lopaciuk, 53, is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery.

He is awaiting extradition. 

Chattanooga Police said a man jumped the pharmacy counter at the Walmart and fled with medication.

At approximately 12:20 p.m., police responded to the Walmart at 3550 Cummings Highway for a robbery from business.

Police said a white male approached the pharmacist on duty. He said he had a gun and demanded oxycodone and hydrocodone pills.

He fled in an unknown vehicle.

No one was injured during the robbery and the suspect never displayed a weapon.
