Dalton State basketball coach Tony Ingle announced Wednesday that the second annual Roadrunner Blue/Silver Basketball Intersquad game, sponsored by the men’s basketball booster club, will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center.

A booster club meet and greet will take place at 6 p.m. The team will be introduced at 7 p.m. followed by the game.

“We’re looking forward to it,” said Mr.

Ingle. “It will give our fans an opportunity to see and meet this season’s team.” Dalton State players and coaches will be available for pictures and autographs following the scrimmage. There will be no admission charge for the event.

The Roadrunners will tip-off the regular season at Life University at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10.

The first regular season home basketball game will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 7:30 p.m. when the Flying Fleet of NCAA Division II Erkskine College of Anderson, S.C. come to the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center.

The trade center will have a new look this year. The athletic department and the trade center are in the process of changing out the orange seats that have adorned the arena for a long time. New navy blue seats, complete with cup holders, have been installed in much of the arena. Current plans call for most or all of the remaining seats to be replaced next season.

Dalton State celebrated the return to athletics last season with a stunning 26-4 basketball season.
