Bruce Story, Co-Founder Of Riverbend Festival Passes Away

Bruce Story, co-founder of the Riverbend Festival has died.

A statement read, "Friends of the Festival staff members and Board of Directors are deeply saddened to hear about the death of Bruce Story, co-founder of Riverbend Festival. 

"Without Bruce, Riverbend Festival wouldn't be gearing up for year 34 of the 'Tennessee Valley's Family Reunion.' Friends of the Festival is grateful to Bruce for his vision and commitment to Riverbend and Chattanooga." 

Friends of the Festival Executive Director Chip Baker said, "Riverbend was created, like so many festivals around the country, with a group of community leaders and a management team who could turn a dream into reality. Bruce planted the seed that transformed Riverbend into what it is today, one of the top echelons of festivals in the United States."
