One teen charged in the 2012 rape of a woman jogging near Finley Stadium, on Friday morning pleaded no contest to her rape. No contest has the effect of a guilty plea.
Deacon Williams, who was 16 at the time and is now 18, was given a 10-year prison sentence to be served at 100 percent.
Devon Tavius Bryant, who was 18 at the time, is still awaiting trial.
Prosecutor Cameron Williams said the rape victim was not able to identify Williams because he had a mask over his face. He said she was in agreement with the plea.
The prosecutor said it was Williams, who was wearing a gray jacket, who first accosted the woman and who choked her until she was unconscious.
He said the two were caught on video from the nearby City Cafe.
Williams admitted taking part the robbery of the woman's MP3 player and was given a concurrent six-year sentence.
Williams will be on probation for life and be a registered sex offender.
He appeared before Criminal Court Judge Don Poole.
