Police Blotter: "Anthony" Grabs Drills At Home Depot "Job Interview"; Man With 2 Women On String Fusses With 3rd

Police said a man who identified himself as "Anthony" told Home Depot officials at Northpoint Boulevard that he was there for a job interview.

Instead, he grabbed three Dewalt drill sets and ran across the street.

He is described as in his late 20s to early 30s with a bald or close-shaved head, 5'7" and thin.

The incident was caught on video.

Bernard Stoudemire said he had his 1993 Olds 88 parked in front of his residence on Persimmon Lane. It has transmission problems.

He had gone to get a repair man. When he returned, the Olds was gone.

A neighbor said an older-model wrecker hooked up the disabled vehicle and took off with it.

Police did not have any record of such a wrecker tow.

At the Target on Gunbarrel Road, a woman was seen taking two boxes of playing cards.

She left without paying for the $65.53 in merchandise.

The woman was caught and charged with theft under $500.

Police checked out a theft at the Walmart on Highway 153.

A silver Mitsubishi Galant was said to be involved. Officers stopped the car with three people inside.They were driver Nancy Locke, front-seat passenger Mark Hendrick and rear-seat passenger Ricky Burns Jr.

All admitted involvement with the thief, but all gave different names for the culprit and different accounts.

Police said Hendrick had several needles, straws and small baggies. He admitted there was meth residue on some of the items.

Store officials said $121.17 in merchandise was taken.

All of those in the car were taken to the County Jail.

The Eastside Utility District on Lee Highway reported the theft of an air conditioning unit. The loss was put at $2,000.

A neighbor reported seeing pieces of the unit lying in the driveway.

At the Walmart in Brainerd, two white females were observed stealing items.

Loss prevention tried to stop them outside the store.

One of the women punched a female employee in the throat before leaving in a white sedan.

On W. 14th Street Court, Jaquala Walker said she heard her front door glass breaking.

She opened the door and spotted her neighbor, Kimberly Roser.

Ms. Roser said Antonio Baldwin, "the man both are sleeping with," was arguing with a third female, Kiera Woods, on Ms. Walker's front porch.

Ms. Woods became angry and hit the window, breaking it. Both left quickly.

Ms. Woods was located at her residence and arrested.
