Robert O. Holden, 84, died on November 11, 2014 at a local assisted living facility.
He was a retiree of Southern Railroad. He attended Alton Park Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Mattie Jordan, Berdie Mae Dill, Anna Sue Pope, Corine Watts, Janie Mae Holden, and Oscar Willie Holden.
Survivors include his daughters, Angela Holden and Sharon Thompson of Chattanooga; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 20, at noon in the chapel with Pastor Phillip Henderson officiating. Interment will be in Tyner Cemetery.
The body will lie in state two hours prior to services on at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
