Robert Edward Giles, 63, of Summerville, Georgia, died on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Oakview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Giles was born February 5, 1951 in Key West, Fl., the son of the late Willie Ray Giles and Mary Magdalena Kazimir Giles. He was employed with HCI. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Giles was a graduate of Northeast Alabama Junior College with a degree in science.
Mr. Giles is survived by a daughter, Kristina Giles; brothers, Raymond Giles and John Giles; grandchildren, Brent Laney and Cole Lewis.
Funeral services will be held at at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at Mason Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Norton officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Giles will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday.
