Save Hutcheson Supporters Have Public Hearing Monday

  • Tuesday, November 18, 2014

North Georgia citizens and Hutcheson Medical Center employees will host a public hearing Monday from 7-8 p.m. at the Dade County Administrative Building. The hearing will address Erlanger Health System’s ongoing foreclosure attempt and the healthcare and economic impact Hutcheson’s closing would have on the North Georgia community.

This public meeting is one of three public meetings to be held in Catoosa, Walker and Dade Counties as a part of the Save Hutcheson initiative.

The Dade County Administrative Building is at 71 Case St. in Trenton.

Hutcheson Medical Center is the primary health provider for Catoosa, Walker and Dade Counties, and is also a economic engine responsible for 900 local jobs. North Georgia citizens will highlight the hospital’s impact on healthcare, jobs, and its role in the business growth of the region.

At the hearing, Farrell Hayes, Hutcheson Medical Center president and CEO, will address Hutcheson’s value to the North Georgia community before opening the floor to questions and comments from the public.
