Eddie Crabtree
Eddie L. Crabtree, 72, of Hixson, died on Tuesday, November 18, 2014.
He was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 43 and employed with TVA. Eddie was an avid Tennessee Volunteers fan and loved fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John M. and Nancy A. Crabtree and family members, Nellie Welch, Henry and Carrie Sims, Lloyd Sims, Norris Sims, Gene Sims, Annabelle Gold and Louise Lynne.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Doris Crabtree; daughter, Pamela (Curtis) Burnette; twin brother, Freddie (Alene) Crabtree; sister, Christine Gann; grandsons, Zachariah Burnette and Dakota Burnette; great grandchildren, Haylee Burnette and Hunter Burnette; brother-in-law, Charles Welch; nephews, Chris (Pam) Crabtree, Jimmy (Sue) Welch, Ronnie (Jean) Welch; nieces, Carol (Dustin) Jackson and June (Ron) Coffman; great-niece, Carmen Crabtree and many other great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, Nov. 21, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Carl Hunsucker officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is on Thursday, Nov. 20, from 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
