Reba Grace Oliver Bishop, 91, of Decatur, TN, died on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at her residence.
A native of Meigs County, she was a daughter of the late Erskin Oliver and Jesse Bell Oliver. She was a faithful member of Good Hope Baptist Church for over 70 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, William (Bill) Bishop; one daughter, Annie Louise Bishop; father, Erskin Oliver; mother, Jesse Bell Oliver; step-mother, Artie Brown Oliver; one sister, Leron Jenkins of Sparta, TN; and one brother, Ray Oliver of Decatur, TN.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Taylor and Ruby Bishop of Nashville, TN and Dean and Ann Bishop of Florida; three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Jerry Lewis, Carolyn and Ed Stout and Beverly and Johnny Prentice, all of Decatur, TN; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Maxine Wilson of Garden City, MI; one sister-in-law, Iva Lou Oliver of Decatur; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, in the chapel at Bowers Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Pearman officiating. Burial will be in the Beta Cemetery.
