Dodge Charger Leads Authorities On Chase Prior To Wreck On S. Lee Highway

A Dodge Charger led authorities on a chase late Wednesday afternoon before crashing on S. Lee Highway.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol stopped the car on I 75. A patrolman smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle.

A passenger was pulled out of the vehicle, prompting the driver to speed off.

One person in the vehicle went into nearby woods after the crash, while others were apprehended at the scene.
