Mary Lucille Casey, 88, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, November 21, 2014 at her home.

Mrs. Casey was born and raised in Chattanooga, was a 1944 graduate of Central High School and was of the Baptist faith.  She was a dedicated homemaker, enjoyed boating and fishing, and was also a lover of animals.   

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna Lee and Walter Casey, Sr.; brother, Walter Carson, Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Kathryn Casey.

Surviving are her husband of 69 years, Earl Wood Casey; children, Ron Casey, Glenn (Sherrill) Casey and Sandra (Rick) Hoste; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23, at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, with Reverend Wayland Stewart officiating.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga, and especially Janice Pelham, for the love and care shown to Mary.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, Tn. 37416.

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
