George Robert “Bobby” Hatcher, 61, lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, died on Saturday, November 22, 2014. 

He retired from the City of Red Bank and was currently employed at Lakeview Middle School. Bobby was a friend to and was loved by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Hickman; and step-father, Odis Hickman.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Evelyn Hatcher; two daughters, Shea (Chris) Stevens and Julie Hatcher; two sons, Jason (Johnna) Hatcher and Will (Michael) Matney; five grandchildren; two sisters, Alice (Ronnie) Owsley and Julie (Lee) Linebarger; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace Brother Ronnie Agee officiating. Interment will follow in Lusk Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends after 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
