Merle Orville Matlock, 88, of Cloudland, Georgia, died on Friday, November 21, 2014, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Matlock was born Dec. 14, 1925, in Alameda, Ca., son of the late Merle Iler and Agnes Spellman Matlock. He was of the Catholic faith, and prior to his retirement, worked as a business representative in the ceramic tile industry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Anne Eppenberger; and a sister, Barbara Matlock.
Mr. Matlock is survived by his wife, Dolores Emily Ann Mickalson Matlock; sons, Paul Matlock and Michael Richard Matlock; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In accordance with Mr. Matlock’s wishes, he was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
