Audrey Mitchell, 89, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Sunday evening, November 23, 2014 in a local health care facility.

Mrs. Mitchell was the daughter of the late Lizzie Croft Torbett and Willie Torbett; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Mitchell Sr.; her son-in-law, David Holloway; her sisters, Reba Land, Ann Garrett, Nadine Roberts and Ola Martin; and her brothers, Azel Torbett and Jay Torbett.

Mrs. Mitchell enjoyed cooking for her family and working in her Vegetable and Flower Gardens. She was a member of the Washington Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Pat Atkins and her husband Jerry, Mary Holloway, Linda McDaniel and her husband Larry all of Cleveland; her son, Wesley “Junior” Mitchell of Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Wesley Dixon and his wife Michelle of Huntsville, AL, Stephen Dixon and his wife Carla of Destin, FL, Keith and Cindy Mitchell of Oklahoma, Jill Ingram and her husband Matt, Merridith Morris and her husband Jason, Whitney White and her husband Kevin, Tennille Jobe and her husband Jonathan and Tiffany Inscore and her husband Ben all of Cleveland; her 25 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Della White, Sue McInturff and her husband G.C.; her brothers, Greely Torbett and his wife Ruth, Robert Torbett and his wife Jane, Charlie Torbett and his wife Diane; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Tuesday, November 25, at 6 p.m. from the North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Gary Sears officiating.

Graveside services and Interment will be conducted on Wednesday, November 26, at 10 a.m. from the Sunset Memorial Gardens with Wesley Dixon, Stephen Dixon, Jason Morris, Ben Inscore, Kevin White, Jonathan Jobe, Matt Ingram and Chase Wiseman serving as casket bearers.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, November 25 just before the service at the North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes who has charge of the arrangements.
