Two Footprints Is December Exhibit At River Gallery

  • Tuesday, November 25, 2014

The River Gallery December exhibit Two Footprints features the work of Michigan artists Rod Carter and Dorothy Jett-Carter. Although married, their work expresses independence. Both artists are inspired by their extensive travels.

Using photography and writing, Mr. Carter captures a place and with his prose enhances each image. Mr. Carter calls his work photoliterature. Inspired by various cultures, textile designer Mrs. Jett-Carter creates wearable art -- detailed hand-beading each piece with an ethnic influence.

There will be an opening reception with the artists on Friday, Dec. 5, from 6:30-8 p.m.

River Gallery is at 400 E. Second St.
