Wilalma Jolene Wallace Bickford, 86, of Marietta, Georgia, died on Tuesday, November 25, 2014.
She was born in Cummingsville, Tn., daughter of the late James Timothy Wallace and Cora Martin Wallace. She retired from BellSouth after 27 years of service and was an avid reader who also enjoyed sewing, quilting and various crafts.
She was preceded in death by her brothers: Roy Seth (Ted) Wallace, Glenard Martin Wallace, William Martin (Bill) Wallace, Royce Tensley (R.T.) Davis, William Asa Davis, Jr., and James Lloyd Wallace; and sisters: Hattie Jessie Wallace and Emma Zelda Wallace.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, L J Bickford, son of the late Claud and Artie Bickford of Pikeville, TN; her children: Barbara (Forrest) Hartley of Stockbridge, GA; Sandra (James) Loomis of Lubbock, TX; and Jerrold Bickford of Marietta, GA; her sister: Duane Wallace Simmons of Roswell, GA; grandchildren: Julie (Heath) Taylor of Sandy Run, SC, Michael (Jennifer) Hartley of McDonough, GA, and Tiffany (Jasun) Heatley of Rockford, IL; seven great-grandchildren, Preston and Cooper Taylor, Joshua Hartley, Corbin and Jamison Gaines, Dakota and Ember Heatley; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, Nov. 29, from 10:30-11 a.m. CST, with a service immediately following, with Jack H. James officiating. Burial will be in the Walling Cemetery.
