Funeral Service Is Tuesday For North Chattanooga Woman Who Died In Fire

The funeral service is Tuesday for a 35-year-old North Chattanooga woman, who died in a house fire on Wednesday that also critically burned her house. The couple's three children got out safely.

Candy Marie Lockhart attended Chattanooga High School and was a member of the Honor Society.  She was an avid poet, including having many of hers published.  She was a member of Chatta-Dorcas Order of Eastern Star Chapter 333 and Rainbow Girls-Hill City Chapter #38.

She was a member of One Accord Community Church.

She worked at Pilgrim’s Pride.

She is survived by her husband, Randall Lockhart; children, Rebecca, Haley and Mark Lockhart; parents, Gary and Susan Patterson; sister and brother-in-law, Kimberly and Matthew Culbreth.

The family will accept friends and family on Monday at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace from 4 to 8 p.m.  A graveside service is 1 p.m. Tuesday at Chattanooga Memorial Park (Duck Pond) in Red Bank with Pastor Ray Williams officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the children.  The funeral home will collect all funds marked as a donation to the children.  Please make sure to mark all donations.
