Alonzo Denzel Scott, 19, Arrested In Bradley County For Grocery Store Shooting And Robbery

Within 24 hours, a suspect has been identified in the robbery and shooting that occurred Sunday night, at Vest Grocery on Gaut Street in Cleveland.

Detective Walter Mitchell of the Cleveland Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division took Alonzo Denzel Scott, 19, into custody and charged him with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. 

The victim, Steven Vest, who was shot during the robbery, is considered stable at this time.
