Rep. Brooks: Election Sends Message Of Tennessee Conservative Values

  • Rep. Kevin Brooks

This election sends a significant conservative message of Tennessee values to the rest of the nation.  I am grateful to the almost 11,000 friends, neighbors and residents of Cleveland, Tn., and Bradley County who cast a vote of confidence for our work in the State House of Representatives. Not one of those votes is ever taken for granted and each of them reminds me of the work yet to be done.”

Especially gratifying is the large majority of votes cast for “Yes on One” in Bradley County.

I am eternally grateful to the pastors, people and pulpits in our community who boldly took a stand for Life.

This is a major moral victory for the conservative principles that make our state great.  The voters went to the polls and took back their voice in Tennessee.

I will now focus on the work my friends and neighbors have re-elected me to finish.  As well, I will seek the support of my House colleagues in re-election to House leadership to continue serving as the House Assistant Majority Leader. It is vitally important to have our community represented at the leadership level.  I ask for your prayers and support on this.

My family and I thank all of you for the vote of confidence in our service and seek your guidance on how we can serve you in the future.  Your prayers are welcome and your vote is truly appreciated.  We ask God to bless the work of our hands.

(Rep. Kevin Brooks serves the 24th Legislative District in Cleveland and Bradley County.  Kevin and his wife, Kim are actively involved in their local community, schools and church with their children, Zach a recent Lee University graduate and Elizabeth who attends the Lee University School of Nursing.)
