Special Events Evening Nov. 8 During First Latino Culture Festival In Dalton

  • Friday, November 7, 2014
On Friday there will be Traditional Latino Food Vendors from noon-5 p.m. at the festivities that have been ongoing since Nov. 1 during the First Latino Culture Festival in downtown Dalton.  Also on Friday from  6-9 p.m. for the first time ever, an event organized by the Latino community will be held at the Wink Theater, with a night of traditional music and dances performed by groups from different Latin American countries and regions.

The Festival is a result of collaborative efforts not only amongst the Latino community itself, but with The Bandy Heritage Center at Dalton State College, Rock Bridge Church, and the City Visitors Bureau, as well as the Government of Guanajuato Liaison in Atlanta, Performance Foodservice Milton’s Roma, Los Pablos Restaurant, Gigi Home Décor, Frontera Income Tax, Carniceria Loa #3--and many people who lent their costumes or artifacts for the exhibition and many volunteers.
