Linda Mines Gave Presentation Of Sevier Family At SAR Meeting

The John Sevier Chapter of the SAR inducted a new member at their meeting. President Tim Adams presented Darel Coterel with his certificate and his wife Ann pinned on the rosette that all SAR members wear.

There was a special guest in the audience who was representing the Chapters namesake. " Bonnie Kate" Sevier was the guest speaker to the members and their wives. Linda Mines told the story of the Seviers and the hardships and joys of being the wife of one of the heroes of Tennessee . She gave the woman's perspective of life in the growing nation.  Ms. Mines, a member of the Chief John Ross DAR, does a brilliant job of making history come alive, said members of the audience.  

There were members of the Nancy Ward, Judge David Campbell, Chickamauga and Chief John Ross present to watch Ms. Mine's performance.
