Brainerd Presbyterian And Red Bank United Methodist Combine For Christmas Music Special

The father/daughter conducting duo, Dr. Tom Hammett and Mrs. Stephanie Bowling will lead the combined choirs of Brainerd Presbyterian Church and Red Bank United Methodist Church in a stirring and inspirational service of Christmas music on Dec. 14.
 
The combined choirs will be accompanied by the Christmas Festival Orchestra.
This community outreach worship service and concert will be presented first at Brainerd Presbyterian Church at 
10:45 a.m., and again at 6 p.m. at Red Bank United Methodist on Sunday, Dec. 14.
 
The program includes “The Many Moods of Christmas, Suite 2” arranged by Robert Shaw and Robert Russell Bennett, “Silent Night” arranged by George Hammett, and “The Song of Christmas” arranged by Roy Ringwald as recorded by Fred Waring and the Pennsylvanians. All selections are traditional in nature with fresh and exciting arrangements which make them ever-new.
 
One highlight of the program will feature legendary radio broadcaster, Earl Freudenberg who will narrate “The Song of Christmas” with text taken from the pages of the Holy Bible.
 
Brainerd Presbyterian Church is at 1624 Jenkins Road, just off E. Brainerd Road. Red Bank United Methodist Church is at 3800 Dayton Boulevard in Red Bank.
