Following a hugely-successful opening weekend, Ice on the Landing presented by Volkswagen Chattanooga, is announcing special activities and discounts targeting audiences this week.

On Tuesday, college students will receive a $2 discount off the regular skating price with their student ID from 5-9 p.m.

On Wednesday, Ice on the Landing will host “Charity Night,” when 20% of ice skating proceeds from 5-9 p.m. will benefit Room in the Inn.

Thursday will be “Family Night,” offering a free child admission when accompanied by a paying adult from 5-9 p.m. Also this Thursday, Hamilton County’s “Read 20” will be distributing free books to every child from 4-6 p.m., and Santa will be on hand from 4-8 p.m. to greet children and take their own photos with him, in exchange for a donation.

On Pearl Harbor Day, Dec. 7, Ice on the Landing will honor veterans and those on active military duty with a $2 discount (ID required).  Santa returns that day as well for visits and photos between 1-5 p.m.

Tickets for Ice on the Landing are $10 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under. This includes skate rental and skating for two hours.
