Each year for the past 30 or more years, the Soddy Daisy fire fighters have raised money to provide Christmas toys and other vital needs for children in the community. In recent years, the need and expenses have grown considerably. This year we expect to spend around $30,000 to support this need.
The Soddy Daisy fire fighters are only the mechanism that puts the plan together and implements it. We could not do it without the generosity and commitment of the citizens, businesses and organizations in the Soddy Daisy area.
All proceeds are tax deductible, but that is not the reason this community does it and with their help, we will again meet or exceed our goal and make the 2014 Soddy Daisy Fire Fighters Association “Christmas for Kids” program a success. Again, thank you Soddy Daisy for caring.
