McCallie Hosts Symposium On "Understanding Boys"

  • Friday, December 12, 2014
A symposium to equip parents, educators and others with research, best practices and practical ideas for helping boys to thrive in school and on their journey to manhood is scheduled for Sunday from 2-3:30 p.m. at McCallie School in McDonald Hall. This symposium is free and open to the public, but space is limited.

Boys today are often adrift, disengaged, and underperforming.
What can parents, educators and youth leaders do to challenge and inspire them and help them grow into men of honor, integrity and excellence? Join several McCallie administrators and leaders as they share research, experiences, best practices and ideas that McCallie has learned in its 109 years of developing boys.
To register, go to mccallie.org/understanding boys.

Presenters:
Lee Burns III '87
McCallie School Headmaster

Kenny Sholl
Associate Headmaster and
Upper School Head

Troy F. Kemp
Dean of Admission and Financial Aid

Those attending are encouraged to remain afterward for a panel discussion and question and answer session with the presenters.
