Chattanooga State Holiday Luncheon Supports Those In Need

During the annual Chattanooga State Holiday Employee Appreciation Luncheon, employees were asked to donate canned food items and/or make donations to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.
Jude Weidner and Dale Grisso, food drive collection chairs, report that college personnel donated 860 pounds of non-perishable food, more than 100 pounds over what was collected in 2013. Monetary donations of $370 were received. All contributions will help provide meals for 2,197 Chattanooga neighbors in need.  

The unused hot food from the catered meal for employees was delivered to the Community Kitchen where they put it to good use providing a hot meal for those in need.
