Local DAR Chapters Participate In Wreaths Across America

Chattanooga Daughters of American Revolution chapters participated in the National Wreaths Across America at National Cemetery on Saturday.  The event was hosted by Group II, Tennessee Wing, Civil Air Patrol and led by Lieutenant Colonel Jack E. Mullinax II.

The mission of Wreaths Across America, Remember, Honor, Teach, is carried out in part by coordinating wreath laying ceremonies at Arlington Cemetery as well as veterans’ cemeteries in all 50 states, ceremonies at sea and 24 national cemeteries on foreign soil. DAR Chapters assisting in placing wreaths were Chickamauga, Chief John Ross, Judge David Campbell, Moccasin Bend and Nancy Ward.
