Charles Dee Welch, 57, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, died on Friday December 12, 2014 at his residence.
A native of Marion, In., he had lived in the Tunnel Hill area for the past 10 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a former employee of Oscar Meyer where he worked for five, years and was of the Christian faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Welch.
He is survived by two sons, Nicholas “Nick” Welch of Marseilles, Il., and Christopher “Chris” Welch of Channohon, Il.; mother, Anna Hone Welch of Las Vegas; sister, Teresa Welch of Las Vegas; three brothers, James (Pat) Welch of Shorwood, Il., David (Geri) Welch of Las Vegas, and Richard (Tammy) Welch of Braidwood, Il.; two granddaughters, Jenisis Jade Welch and Arianna Castro, several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.
