Lawrence Howard Phillips, 80, of Harrison, died on Friday, December 12, 2014.
He was a graduate of Bob Jones University and Deacon of Hillside Baptist Church.
He was born in Kansas City, Mo., to the late Ernest and Mildred Phillips.
Lawrence is survived by his three brothers and one sister, wife Trish, four daughters and one son, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be sent to Hillside Baptist Church, in memory of Lawrence, for a designated missionary.
Visitation will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 19. Pastor Steve Cape will conduct the service at 11:30 a.m. in the church. Interment will be in Tyner Cemetery.
