Randy spent his life serving others. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, with distinction as a two-tour veteran of the Vietnam War, a paratrooper of the 173rd Airborne Brigade, and a drill instructor earning several meritorious awards and citations. The discipline and patriotism he learned in the military as well as the morals and values he carried to the police department never left him, as friends and family will attest.
