Joseph Riley Greene
Joseph Riley Greene, 12, of East Brainerd, died on Monday, December 22, 2014 in a local hospital.
Riley was a sixth grade student at East Hamilton and a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He loved to spend time with his family, swim, swing, play Guitar Hero and drums.
Riley is now healthy, happy and with his grandmothers, grandfathers and other family who have gone before him. We will miss him more than we can put into words, but know that he is now able to see, hear and talk everybody’s ears off.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Joseph Hyatt and Kermit Griffin.
Survivors are his mother, Teresa (Johnny) Hyatt Still; father, Joel (Lena) Greene; all of Chattanooga; step-brothers, Kato Tatum, Chattanooga and Cullen Still, Spartanburg, S.C.; grandparents, David and Karen Greene, Sarasota, Fl., Lina Griffin, Marlin, Tx., Peggy Hyatt, Charleston, S.C. and Fred and Vonnie Richards, Spartanburg, S.C.; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 26 at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
