Wright, Betty Sue Stoker (Chickamauga)

Betty Sue Stoker Wright, 87, of Chickamauga, Georgia, died on Tuesday, December 23, 2014.

She was born in Chickamauga to the late William Burl and Euless Malacoat Stoker. She was a lifelong resident of Walker County. She was a former employee of E.T. Barwick Mills at the Archer Plant. She was a longtime member of Cooper Heights Church of God where she had taught the children's class.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wright and brothers, B.J. and Frank Stoker

She is survived by her nephew, William L. (Wanda) Stoker, great-niece and great-nephew, Regina Penson, Rickey Stoker, great-great-niece and great-nephews, Kayla, Cody and Mason Stoker, James and Robert Penson, and great-great-great nephew, Dontavious Grimes.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Dec. 26, from 2–8 p.m. and Saturday morning prior to the service.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27, in the J. Avery Bryan Chapel with Reverend Kenneth Oliver officiating. Burial will follow at Garretts Chapel Cemetery - Chickamauga.

Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Homes – J. Avery Bryan Chapel – Chickamauga.
