Man, 50, Stabbed Multiple Times In MLK Boulevard Disorder; Wilkey Charged

A man was stabbed multiple times in a disorder on MLK Boulevard on Thursday afternoon.

Lesley Raymond Wilkey, 53, was charged with attempted first-degree murder in the stabbing of 50-year-old Charles Wheeler.

At approximately 4:06 p.m., the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a stabbing at 300 E. MLK Boulevard.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Wilkey was quickly taken into custody.
