Kenneth Douglas Treadaway, 63, of Summerville, Georgia, died on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at the Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Treadaway was born March 28, 1951, in Trion, GA, son of the late Rexford and Annie Mae Acrey Treadaway. He was a truck driver and a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam.
Mr. Treadaway is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Seaborn and Kym Treadaway; a sister and brother-in-law, Sally and Matt Angus; several nieces and nephews; Brandon and Melody Galloway, Mollie and Jeremy Mathis, Katelyn Treadaway, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Treadaway will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 30, at the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ken Johnson officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Floyd, Buford Lee Fox, and the staff and residents of the Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Treadaway will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday.
