Greever, William "Bill" Beatty III

William “Bill” Beatty Greever III, 60, died unexpectedly on December 25, 2014, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.   

A native and lifelong resident of Chattanooga, he graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s post-graduate program.  Bill worked for the Krystal Restaurants of Chattanooga for the past 14 years.  He was an avid reader, a history expert and devoted sports fan of the Tennessee Volunteers.  He will be forever remembered by his family and missed by them. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Boyles Greever, and his father, William B. Greever, Jr.

Survivors include his brother, Stephen T. Greever, of Round Rock, Tx.; sister, Anne G. (Bill) Nolan; niece, Kathleen Nolan of Saint Augustine, Fl.; nephew, William (Danielle) Nolan of Sanford, Fl.; as well as extended family members. 

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, at Lane Funeral Home with Dr. Thomas R. Edmonds officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Association.
