The Helen Ross McNabb Center, formerly Fortwood Center, announced the addition of Dr. Tim Larson, a board-certified psychiatrist, to its team of providers.

Dr. Larson is now providing care for adults and children in need of mental health services at the Helen Ross McNabb Center’s Hamilton County adolescent and adult outpatient centers. Dr. Larson received his medical degree from The Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his residency at Loma Linda University. He also received a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

Dr. Larson has practiced in the greater Chattanooga community for nearly 20 years.

“Employing board-certified psychiatrists enhances the Center’s ability to provide quality care and increase access to care. We are honored that Dr. Larson has joined the Center’s work and mission of improving the lives of East Tennesseans through providing excellent mental health care services,” says Gayle Lodato, Helen Ross McNabb Center senior director of Hamilton County services.

Dr. Larson is now accepting new patients. The Helen Ross McNabb Center accepts most insurances, including TennCare. For more information, call 423-266-6751.
