Charlotte M. “Senie” Bird, 73, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Saturday morning, November 29, 2014 in a local health care facility.
Charlotte was born in Ocoee, TN on August 25, 1941 a daughter of the late Jacob Louis “J.L.” Kinser and Evelyn Mercitah Kinser. She was of the Baptist faith. Charlotte was a graduate of Bradley Central High School and also Cleveland State Community College where she received her Associates of Applied Science degree in Office Careers. She had a great love for music and later went on to do a Vocal Consort at the Cadek Conservatory at the Universality of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Don Kinser.
Charlotte is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jeff & Donna Bird; two grandchildren, Brayton Bird and Bristol Bird; two sisters, Janice White (Bob) of Ocoee, TN and Tamara Brown of Cleveland, TN; two brothers, Joe Kinser (Tammy) of Cleveland, TN and Charles Kinser (Kathy) of Flat Rock, AL; and several nieces, nephews, other extended family members and special friends. \
A memorial celebration of her life is planned for Wednesday, December 3 at 11 a.m. at the Smyrna Baptist Church located at 209 Smyrna Church Road in Ocoee, TN with the Reverend Roger Stepp officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, December 3.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in Charlotte’s memory.
