Middle Valley Church of God, at 1703 Thrasher Pike in Hixson, announces that Pastor Mitch McClure will speak on the topic, "Why Shepherds?" in the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday.
This sermon is part of a special series of sermons based on the advent of Christ. Pastor McClure will lead the church in a time of prayer and Bible reading in the 6:30 p.m. service on Sunday.
Each Wednesday at 7 p.m. classes are made available for all age groupings.
At the present time, Pastor Mitch McClure is leading the congregation in a Bible study on "We Must Wake Up". A portion of the study will involve reviewing Awakening by Ralph Reed.
The community is invited to participate in all services of Middle Valley Church of God.
