I have been a faithful user of Uber ride share all over the country, and am very pleased with the service the drivers have delivered. The cars are clean, the vehicles are well maintained, and the drivers pleasant, and more importantly, available.
I can't tell you the number of times I have been in downtown Chattanooga and could not get a cab to save my life. Uber is the answer to our city's transportation quagmire.
The beauty of Uber is that no cash is transacted, so therefore crimes against taxis, like what just occurred this week, will be a non-issue. Chattanooga needs to get its head out of the sand and embrace this progressive form of safe, reliable transportation.
