The Lee University School of Music and School of Religion will present a collaborative Christmas service of Lessons and Carols on Thursday, Dec. 11, at 7:30 p.m. in the Lee University Chapel.
The program will include nine biblical lessons read by faculty and staff of the School of Religion, as well as Christmas carols. Music will be provided by the Lee University Chorale, directed by Dr. William R. Green. Dr. Matthew Krepps will serve as organist for the event.
Music selections performed by the Lee University Chorale will include “Of the Father’s Love Begotten,” “O Magnum Mysterium,” and “Heavenly Light." The evening will also provide the opportunity for the congregation to join in singing familiar Christmas carols.
Admission to the event is free of charge, but tickets are required due to limited seating. Tickets are available by calling the Dixon Center Box Office at 614-8343 or picking up tickets at the box office during weekday operating hours of 3-6 p.m.
