Remains Found At Apison Identified As Human

Remains found at Apison on Thursday have been identified as human remains.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office had responded to information of possible human remains located in the 4500 block of Clonts Road.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office requested, through the Hamilton County Medical Examiner’s Office, the assistance of the Forensic Anthropology Center: University of Tennessee Knoxville to assist in the recovery of the remains. 

The remains will be transferred to the Forensic Anthropology Center: University of Tennessee Knoxville for identification.
