Southern Has Annual Pops Concert Saturday

Southern Adventist University’s Wind Symphony, Jazz Ensemble, and Ringtones, will all perform Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Ackerman Auditorium.  

“An American Tune” is the theme of this year’s concert, which will feature Stephen Foster’s Slumber, My Darling, George Gershwin’s Prelude No. 2, and Leonard Bernstein’s America from "West Side Story.” This event is free and open to the public.

Priority Schools are the five percent of schools across the state with the lowest overall performance. Man Robbed, Stabbed At Hixson Pike Bus Stop

A man was robbed and stabbed at a bus stop on Hixson Pike on Tuesday night. At approximately 9:30 p.m., officers were called concerning a robbery at 3800 Hixson Pike.
