Billy Dean Swafford, 81, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, February 8, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Margaret Swafford; and son, Allen Ray Swafford.

Survivors include his daughters, Diane (Gary) Mahaffey of Red Bank, Tammy (Alvin) Cooper of Sand Mountain and Lisa (James) Richie of Chattanooga; sons, Bobby (Sheri) Swafford of Atlanta, GA and Gary Swafford of Chattanooga; brother, Ray Swafford of Chattanooga; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, with Reverend Bobby Swafford officiating.  Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.  

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.

Erlanger Chooses Epic Software For New $100 Million Electronic Medical Records System; CEO Judy Faulkner To Visit Chattanooga
