Teresa Childs Was Person Killed In Highway 58 Wreck

One person was killed and three people injured in a wreck on Highway 58 on Wednesday afternoon. Teresa Childs, 58, of Georgetown, died from injuries she sustained in the crash.  

The crash involved a 2006 Ford F150 traveling northbound on Highway 58 and a 2010 Subaru Forester traveling southbound.  The driver of the Ford F150 lost control of the vehicle and entered into the other lane of traffic striking the Subaru.  

There were two occupants in each vehicle.  The driver of the Subaru Forester was Ms. Childs.  The driver and passenger in the Ford F150, as well as passenger in the Subaru, were transported to an area hospital for treatment of the injuries they sustained in the crash.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.

Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched to a house fire at  3915 6th Avenue  in East Lake at  8:53 p.m.  on Friday.
