Saints To Be Honored At First Cumberland This Sunday

The saints who have gone to be with the Lord in the last year will be honored this Sunday during the morning worship hour at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1505 North Moore Road. If you wish the name of a loved one or friend read in the service, please call the church office.

The Galloping Gourmets will be headed to the Cottage Tea Room in Ringgold on Feb. 27 at 11 a.m. If you would like to join in the fun, please call the church office to make reservations.

Woman Stabbed Multiple Times On Cleveland Avenue Early Thursday Morning

A woman was stabbed multiple times early Thursday morning. At approximately 3 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to 2104 Cleveland Ave. for a stabbing. Officers located a black female in the roadway suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital by HCEMS for her injuries and is in stable condition. CARTA Leaders Welcome Study On Passenger Rail Service For Chattanooga

CARTA leaders said Thursday they welcome an upcoming $700,000 study on re-instituting passenger rail service for Chattanooga.
