At 8 a.m. there are about 1,600 homes and businesses in the EPB system without power.

Officials said, "We have about 200 crews working to restore all customers by late afternoon today."

As of 10:50 p.m., there had been 2,000 homes and businesses in the EPB system without power after this week's snow storm.

Additional crews from outside the region continued to arrive throughout the day Friday to assist EPB crews, officials said.

EPB said, "We appreciate everyone's patience, as the restoration from the effects of Wednesday night's snowstorm continues with all available resources."
