New Class For New Step-Parents Is March 6

First Things First is offering Remarriage with Kids, a new class for step-parents.  In this class, participants will gain the skills to help build a strong foundation for a lasting relationship and a happier family, said officials. 

The class will include information about the challenges of becoming a step-family, effective communication skills, conflict management, appropriate expectations, financial responsibility and more.  

This class will qualify Tennessee residents for a discount on their marriage license.

Remarriage with Kids will be Thursday, March 6, 5:30-9:30 p.m. at St. John United Methodist Church, 3921 Murray Hills Dr.  The cost is $20 per couple.
